Cutest new baby on the block

Well, as most of you know, baby Hutton #4 joined our family on January 29.  Very early on the 29th:)  Another handsome boy!  Sawyer Mark.  I will do a more detailed post one of these days (before he's one at least) chronicaling our birth experience.  Because let me me say, this one wanted to do everything in the books to make his birth the most memorable/exciting one of all.  He succeeded.  Plus, I have some cute pictures of him first born (as cute as you can be when your first born I guess:)).  But for now, a few teasers from my phone.  It's typically my everyday camera these days anyways, so I have the most pictures on there.  But for those who don't live here and want to see his cuteness....here you go:)

I for one really hope he doesn't lose this head full of dark hair.  I will admit it's a little weird to look at one of my baby boys and see all that dark hair, but I love it!  Just a little bit of me in there:)

Brian all prepped and ready to go back into the OR with me.  Gotta love the paper suits....

I gave him a mohawk after his bath one night.  It stayed like this all night and the whole next day.  It's a good look for him:)

Illuminations

At the beginning of December we make our yearly trek to Illuminations at Botanica.  I don't think we could have asked for better weather that day.....it was gorgeous outside!  Last year we froze our butts off, this year the high of the day was something around 60.  Perfect weather for walking around outside looking at Christmas lights....especially since we apparently fail to buy gloves for our children every year:)  Illminations gets more fun every year as the kids get older and more into it.  We also met our bffs (along with cousins!) so the kids were thrilled.  The only hiccup we experienced was running into "santa" when we first got there.  Kamdyn was more than a little freaked out by him and was afraid we were going to run into him all night long.  Needless to say, she didn't leave our sides much the rest of the night:)

Excuse the blurry pictures.....I'm still trying to figure out night mode on my camera....the shutter speed is way to slow for my subjects:)

Christmas

In an effort to get myself somewhat caught up and so you can all see the happenings in our life from the past, oh, two months, I'm doing things a bit out of order.  This is very much not my style, and will probably drive me crazy:)  I'm a routine/order kind of girl......But I gotta show off the most recent cute stuff first!

Christmas has come and gone.  It was fabulous, as it usually is, but it was also busy and very exhausting.  Throw in there a lot of sickness this year and it made it even more draining, but we all still had a great holiday regardless.  It was nice to get a break from our daily grind and routine and not have anywhere we had to go for a couple of weeks with Eli out of school and all our other activities on a break.  Plus, the kids got to have daddy home for 2 1/2 weeks so they were thrilled.  I think they get tired of seeing mommy all the time:)

When it was all said and done, by the end of the month we celebrated Christmas 5 times and had two birthday dinners/get togethers in there.  All in a two week period!  Busy busy busy.  So much fun though.  The kids had a blast and are really starting to enjoy holidays.  It's so cute to watch them open their gifts and get so excited about their new things.  It's not so much fun to deal with all the fighting we've been dealing with because they are possessive of their new things and don't want to share.....Sharing.....such a tough concept at all ages really:)

Sadly, while we had all those awesome get togethers, I only got pictures at our first "christmas" at granny and papa's house. Actually the truth is, I just stopped taking my camera.  It was so hard to even get pictures that first time with three small kids to wrangle and help with gifts that I just stopped bothering lugging the huge thing around.  The rest of the family Christmas memories are just going to have to be stored in my head hard drive:)

Some pictures from our Christmas (at granny and papa's house)

My two handsome little men.....love these boys!

Cousins!  Our kids go crazy when they get to spend any time with their cousins.  So thankful that we live close and they get to grow up together.  Kamdyn was being less than cooperative (like normal....I think she's a lot like me with the camera), but we always say it's having the bodies in the pictures that count!

 Present time!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season as well!  Up next is January and our crazy birthday month!  Bring on the parties:)

Halloween

Halloween in December....seems fitting to me:)

Some people are really great at blogging.  I'm not one of them.  I used to be better.  Then we had our third kid in three years.  Then I got a good phone and I got lazy and didn't feel like lugging my big camera around while trying to keep track of the kids.

Perhaps if I had a camera fairy that carried my camera around and was responsible for uploaded my pictures onto my computer? That would be nice.

Anyways....moving on.  Halloween happened.  Back in October actually:)  I sort of hate the holiday.  I like the candy, but could do without the actual day of celebration.  The kids are getting old enough that they actually are starting to enjoy it (despite my humbug attitude and lack of excitement towards it:)), so it is starting to suck a little less.

We went trick or treating with the kids' BFF, Grey, again this year.  Their cousins and papa also got to join us, so the kids were in heaven! We had a big ole' group of people and kids.  Made for a little bit of craziness.  Especially since our kids were some of the younger ones and walk way slower.  We were having a very very hard time keeping up with the older kids who were onto the next house by the time Kamdyn and Shepherd made it up the steps to the previous house:)  I had to carry Kamdyn half the time just so we wouldn't get left behind.  Needless to say, my feet were tired!  All in all, it was a fun night with friends and family.  And I throughly enjoyed being the candy patrol and taking care of portion control for the kids:)  Thankful it's only one night once a year.  I need all the time I can get to recover!

Until next year, enjoy some pictures....

Eli also got to celebrate with a fall party at school.  This was a first for us both.  So fun!  He got to dress up in his costume and do a parade with all the kids in the preschool.  Brian's grandparents watched the other two so I was able to actually go and just sit and enjoy watching Eli.  Amazing:)  One of Eli's little friend from school has a mom who is a chemistry teacher in the district.  So she came and did some fun halloween "experiments" for the class.  His party was way cooler than anything I remember as a kid!

(Random picture that got thrown in with this bunch.....such a cute little man.  Every serious trick or treater has to bring along his monkey, right?!)

Eli's preschool class.  His teacher, Miss Tammy is in the football jersey.  His para Miss Stephanie is in the pink.
Parade of preschoolers!  Eli is Bob the Builder (if you haven't figured that out already:))

A few more of Parker

Ok, I have some more of Parker.  I promise I do take pictures of our other two kids.  Sometimes:)  In any case, I didn't actually take these pictures anyways.  These are Parker's one year pictures my friend Allison took for me.  I just have to share some because they are so cute and he is so handsome (just try to ignore his crazy hair please:))  So here you are!
