Tiny Dancer

It is so fun to watch your kids do something they love.  And to watch them grow and change and get better at what they love.  For miss K, it's dance.  She loves it.  If you had seen her dance two years ago, you certainly would have wondered if that was true or not:)  But she has come a long way, and she does such a great job dancing!  May always marks the end of the year recital for her so she can show off all her dance skills.  That means we have been busy with all things dance:)  It started in April when we got to have a parent watch day and got to see what they've been working on.  And they tried on their costumes.  This is always fun for me.....my girl is not necessarily a girly girl, but she sure loves dressing up for dance recitals!

Parker apparently loves looking at himself, because instead of watching his sister dance, he was watching himself in the mirror and giving himself lots of loves.  Weirdo:)

After months of work, it's time for the show!  K loves dancing on the "big stage"  And I sure love watching her!  She has just blossomed and lights up when she's up there.  Preschool recitals can be a little painful because a good majority of the kids have no idea what they are doing:), but they are all so cute regardless!!

And after the big show.....K with her bff Grace.  They weren't in the same classes this year, which was very sad for me, and I know K missed her, but she sure stepped out being without friends this year.  And, they were still open for posing for pictures for us in their cute little costumes:)
And some of her biggest fans......I have a feeling they will have a lifetime of dance recitals in their future.  And she's going to have her share of sporting events:)
